Digital Media in Kenya
Director, Editor, and Camera Operator
Ten students from the University of Houston ventured to Kenya to discover and capture insights on their current digital media climate, there they interviewed journalists, gig-economy workers, social media influencers, and more. This film was made under the supervision of Professor Sahar Hamzah, Professor Dani Madrid Morales, and Professor Brian Ekdale as part of a Documentary Filmmaking Intensive Course. The film was previewed at the “@frica: Digital Media Conference” held in the Spring of 2020.
